When Uli Behringer announced he was adding "synthesizers" to his company's line  of products, he was met with withering skepticism by many in the synth community. Many wondered if he could actually "pull it off" ( -and if so, would his synths merely be "cheap knock-offs" or instead be quality reproductions that actually captured the authenticity  and "vibe" of the originals ).  After nearly a dozen such introductions    we no longer have to wonder!

Over the past few years, synth fanatics have been treated to      a tsunami of new Behringer synth introductions. Almost to    the point that many are finding it difficult to keep up! With    the introduction of the "Crave", "D", "Poly D", "Pro-1" and      ( new ) "Wasp Deluxe", there can be no question. Uli has    not only attained but wildly exceeded  his goal! Many    skeptics are having to "eat crow" and admit that Uli has  indeed become a real force  in today's synth market.                    BEHRINGER "POLY  D" and "WASP DELUXE"   

With Behringer's entry into the synth market, those who've thus far been unable to afford a synth are finding that they too  -can afford one! After decades of being an elitist "rich man's club" ( -with the "big name" synth manufacturers gouging the public with their inflated synth prices ), Uli's  succeeded in finally "democratizing" electronic music        -at last making synthesizers accessible to the masses.                   ( -ABOVE  )  BEHRINGER "PRO-1"                   THANKS  ULI ! 

Slated to begin production in 2020', "The Synthesist" is the world's first "synth-centric" sci-fi thriller. The story of a sound-designer who discovers an ET invasion conspiracy and then has to foil it single-handedly using his "synth smarts".  

The film synopsis -written by Creative Tech Nerds editor and Indie film maker Tomm Buzzetta -combines two of Tomm's favorite past times:          electronic-music and science-fiction, into a riveting thriller replete with scintillating EM sound score, stunning visuals and an intelligent script. 

Paying homage to past thrillers like Brian De Palma's "Blow Out" and Antonioni's "Blow Up" ( -where an innocent "every man" character accidentally stumbles upon a dark conspiracy and then  has to act in order to "save the day" ), The Synthesist should    appeal to "synth freaks", tech nerds, sci-fiers and thriller fans.

Impressed with the onscreen "look" and superb sound quality of Behringer's synths ( -especially    the "Pro-1" and "Wasp Deluxe" ), CTN-editor/ film maker Tomm Buzzetta is considering the possibility of using one or more Behringer synths as pivotal story line props in this upcoming sci-i thriller:    "The Synthesist" *( Scroll down the page link          ( -above  ) to read the film synopsis ).                                                                                                                                                                                           -the "Poly D" -worth considering?

Currently entertaining inquiries from potential sponsors, the film will be independently produced and employ a cast of fresh, new faces. "I've sent news of the project to Mr. Behringer.  I'm currently waiting to hear back from him. Hopefully we'll get his blessing and support for the                                                                                        project, maybe even his sponsorship!" says Tomm.                    -the "Pro-1" another "contender"?

"We've been asking Behringer synth fans WHICH Behringer synths they'd like to see in this film", says Tomm.  So far, the "Neutron", "Crave" and "Poly D" have received votes. Which ever model ( s ) are selected, they'll receive considerable "on-screen time" as the movie's central story props. Beyond that, Tomm would also like to use them to score the film's soundtrack and put them to work conjuring-up many of the movie's challenging sound-effects. "The Synthesist will be a feature length "demo"    of these Behringer synth's sonic capabilities ( -cleverly disguised as a sci-fi thriller )", says Tomm.
